Chapter Meeting

  • Front Street Brewery 9 North Front Street Wilmington, NC, 28401 United States (map)

NAWIC Wilmington-Cape Fear PD&E Committee is pleased to present the second program in our Technology in Construction series at our chapter meeting.

BIM Modeling and Drawing Coordination.

BIM modeling is a virtual planning tool for coordination of your Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical and Sprinkler trades, in keeping with the structure of the facility. BIM modeling, often performed by the Mechanical or General Contractor helps coordinate where everything will be installed and catches conflicts before they arise. The modeling/clash detection process will generate coordination drawings which are used for the PMES rough-in phase of the project. Be on the look out for your Event Brite invitation and plan on joining us!
